Answer:   Our pricing depends on your issue or concern.

Since we customize our services to meet your needs, it is impossible to quote a price for our services without detailed information from you.   We can, however, give you some general pricing guidelines:

 ¨       We are competitively priced, which means: We are not the cheapest you can find nor the most expensive; 

 ¨       Whether we charge you by the hour, our daily rate, a monthly retainer or a flat rate will depend upon the services you need and for how long;

 ¨       Investigative and personal protection services are typically charged by the hour but can sometimes be charged at a daily rate instead;

 ¨         We charge per investigator or personal protection officer;

 ¨         We charge a four-hour minimum per day if our investigators or personal protection officers are dispatched on assignment;

  ♦       We charge for mileage and expenses for investigators and personal protection officers (this is customary for private investigators);

 ¨       We charge sales tax on the total bill, by state law - for work performed within the State of Texas - regardless of where you are located .   In other words, state                  law in each state determines whether sales tax is charged and at what rate, not Paul McCaghren and Associates. The State of Texas wants its money, too,                         and requires us to charge and collect it, when appropriate, and holds us liable if we don’t; and

 ¨        Regardless of which service we provide, we require a signed, written agreement AND may require payment of an agreed retainer before we will begin                             working for you.
